ETS Racing Fuels allows the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux to take an important step towards climate-neutral motorsport

The use of e-fuels can greatly benefit the environment. They are a sustainable alternative to traditional fossil fuels and can be used in existing internal combustion engines, with little or no modifications. Sustainable fuels are already being used in practice today in the best testing grounds possible, namely endurance racing. For example, the cars of the FIA WEC and the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) are already racing with it during the upcoming weekend. Today the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux is also taking the step towards a climate-neutral fuel. In 2024, all Porsche 911 GT3 Cup – Type 992 – will race with ETS Racing Fuels for the new season, ETS Racing Fuels is also the new partner of the fastest one-make cup in the Benelux.

The Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux (PCCB) will introduce the use of a sustainable racing fuel in the series for the first time in 2024. All Porsche 911 GT3 Cup - type 992 - will use the innovative Renewablaze 102 R50 by ETS Racing Fuels. The fuel is based on 50% renewable components which equates to 40% less greenhouse gas emissions compared to an equivalent fossil-based super unleaded fuel. With this move, the PCCB is contributing to greener motorsport, in line with Porsche's overall commitment to sustainability.

The Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux has been a very strong player in motorsport within the Benelux for years and has already proven its strength in the Porsche motorsport pyramid.

Olivier Aerts, Series Manager of the Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux, sees the collaboration as a huge opportunity:

"Testing new technologies has been a tradition at Porsche for decades. We are proud to be a pioneer when it comes to eFuels, which started in 2021 in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. The Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux will be the first racing series in the Benelux to take this step towards climate-neutral motorsport."

Yann Labia, ETS Racing Fuels Global Manager, is also delighted with the collaboration:

"We are therefore delighted to be working with Porsche Carrera Cup Benelux and to fuel the Porsche series for the first time with our sustainable racing fuel Renewablaze 102 R50, which is leading the way in the motorsport industry towards greater sustainability. Our advanced drop-in fuel technology incorporates patented renewable components that make it possible to significantly reduce CO2 emissions while providing drivers with the highest engine performance."
